Abstract

In order to improve detection probability of spectrum sensing based on fractional lower order moment (FLOM) under impulse noise, an improved algorithm is proposed in this paper. The Myraid filter can effectively suppress the impulse noise, so the received signal with impulse noise is processed by Myraid filter, and then the fractional low order moment value of the filtered signal is calculated and taken as test statistic for FLOM. Simulation analysis the impact of different generalized SNR, characteristic index alpha and collaborative users to the sensing performance. Computer simulations show that the performance of improved FLOM method under impulse noise is superior to the ED and FLOM. Moreover, the improved method has better applicability with different modulation signals.
