Abstract

The writing instruction for English majors is bound to enter the informatization education era. In recent years, the research on information technology-assisted English-writing instruction is insufficient, and the research results on cooperative English-writing instruction assisted by information technology are few and far between. Based on modern information technology, the establishment of cooperative model of writing instruction for English majors is to make full use of modern information technology in the instruction of writing for English majors. It hopefully optimizes classroom teaching and efficiently carries out teacher-student cooperation and student-student cooperation in and after class. The author’s ten-year practice proves that it is feasible to introduce the concept of informatization education into the cooperative teaching of English majors’ writing, which can effectively improve English majors’ writing abilities.
