Abstract

Abstract This chapter looks into the cooperation between national courts and the Court of Justice within the framework of the preliminary ruling procedure. It discusses the initiative for requesting a preliminary ruling, including the notion of court or tribunal of a Member State, along with the content of an order for reference, the determination of relevance, and the duty to request a preliminary ruling. It also considers requests in the context of composite administrative procedures.
