Abstract

Emergence of artificial intelligence has made machines “Smart.” By “Smart,” we mean the ability of the machine to process the given data with rationality, like an intelligent human being, and take a suitable decision. Convolutional neural network is primarily used for operations like image classification, segmentation, and other computer vision operations. The value of stride depends on the connection of the convolution layer and the pooling layer, the filter size and the properties of images in data. The convolution layer, in short CONV Layer, extracts features from an input image by applying a large number of filters in parallel, which are specific to the dataset and the predictive modeling problem. CNN is mainly used to solve the problems of computer vision like image classification, object localization in an image, segmentation, Object detection in the image, style transfer, reconstruction, colorization, etc. Of all these applications, the most commonly used application is image classification.
