Abstract

A detailed description is given for the construction and operation of a conveyer train (CT) system. Transfer of movement from a drive to the train is accomplished by one of the following methods: caterpillar or toothed gearing, friction, i.e., by means of pneumatic or rubberized wheels, magnetic friction, or using linear asynchronous motors. A comparative estimate and CT technical properties are given. The advantages of CT over belt conveyers are listed.
