Abstract

This paper analyze the relation between rotation of wing or rotor and micro Doppler frequency obtained from Doppler spectrogram and propose the rotation parameter estimation algorithm. At least three or more monostatic radars are used and maximum Doppler frequency and angular velocity are extracted from Doppler spectrogram for each radar. Additionally, to estimate angular velocity vector, convex optimization algorithm is applied. The performance of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated through the simulations.
