Abstract

We first study the convergence of two-stage iterative methods using the incomplete factorization for solving a linear system whose coefficient matrix is an H-matrix, and then we study the convergence of two-stage iterative methods using the incomplete factorization for solving a linear system whose coefficient matrix is a symmetric positive definite matrix. Lastly, numerical experiments are provided to analyze theoretical results.
