Abstract
Abstract A series of structural analogs(4a—h) of(+)-cis-(1R)-3—isopropenyl—2, 2—dimethylcyclobutanemethanol acetate, the sex pheromone of citrus mealybug, Planococcus citri (Risso), was synthesized from (+)—α—pinene(l) via intermediate, (+)—cis—(lR)—2, 2—dimethyl—3—acetylcyclobutaneethanol(2).
