Abstract
A convective diffusion model is proposed for transfer of solute gas in a Rotating Biological Contactor for the case when the disc submergence is < 50%. The model predictions are shown to be in agreement with results of other investigators. It has been shown that the maximum transfer rate occurs when the parameter ξ = 0.25.
