Abstract

In this paper, we are interested in using sliding mode control scheme to control the tethered satellite system. For, the modelled system we consider one main satellite and one sub-satellite associated with inextensible and massless tether. The control strategy in view of the sliding mode control is created for controlling the libration motion to consistent state. Computational results illustrating that the designed control technique has great execution in controlling the libration motion of tethered satellite system for two degree of freedom.
