Abstract

The paper considers the problem of forming the deep holes with a small diameter by using the electro-erosive – electrochemical piercing. The structural scheme based on the analysis of the physical model of the mixed processing is developed. This scheme presents a system of interrelated processes implemented in the inter-electrode gap. A system approach to analyzing the operating processes during piercing the deep holes of a small diameter allows us to reveal the process interrelations and determine the factors limiting the forming process. The role of hydrodynamic processes in the inter-electrode gap aimed at the well-timed and complete removal of the products of the electrochemical dissolution and the electro-erosive destruction in the processing zone is determined.
