Abstract
The possibility of controlling the aerodynamic characteristics of lifting airfoils by means of local periodic pulsed energy supply in transonic flight regimes has been studied. Using a numerical solution of two-dimensional nonstationary equations of gasdynamics, a change in the flow structure near a symmetric airfoil is determined as dependent on the amount of energy supplied to the lower side of the airfoil in a range of attack angles.
