Abstract

The size and morphology of nanozymes is a critical strategy for adjusting the catalytic efficiency. In this work, rhodium nanorods (Rh NRs) are fabricated through a simple solvothermal method. Physical structure of samples were analyzed by Transmission Electron Microscope, X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectra. The Rh NRs with an average size of 120 nm exhibits good photothermal effect as well as peroxidase-like and catalase-like activities under near infrared laser (NIR). In addition, cellluar experiments verifies that it could inhibit cancer cells growth. Thus, Rh NRs show a great potentials in the catalyze researches for biomedical application.
