Abstract
The optical bistability (OB) in the quantum dot (QD) biexciton–exciton cascaded scheme in a unidirectional ring cavity has been investigated. We find that the OB behavior in our system can be controlled by the system different parameters such as electronic cooperation parameter, Rabi frequency of the coupling laser field, decay rate, and two frequency detuning, in which the parameter sensitivity is discussed. Such simple system can be used in all-optical switching for different temperatures.
