Abstract

In this paper an approach for faultaccommodation in a flight of an aircraft is presented. Thefault occurrence is due a noise measurement in the outputvariables of the aircraft. The used strategy for faultaccommodation is the technique “Linear QuadraticGaussian Control with Loop Transfer Recovery”(LQG/LTR). A mathematical model of a flight Simulator of aQuanser’s Helicopter was used. This system is an excellentmodule for teaching and development of control techniques.The results obtained in digital simulations show theeffectiveness of the LQG/LTR to control the system in fault.Index Terms ⎯ 3-DOF Helicopter, Fault Accommodation,LQG/LTR.
