Abstract

In recent years some species of Solanaceae has appeared more frequently infesting cotton crops. Information on the management of these species are still scarce in this culture. In order to seek effective alternatives in the management of these weeds was installed this work. The experiments were conducted in green-house and installed two for each species evaluated ( Nicandra physaloides Gaertn e Solanum americanum Mill.), varying the stage of application (2 to 4 and 4 to 6 true leaves). The treatments were composed by the application isolated and in mixture of herbicides pyrithiobac-sodium, amonio-glufosinate, glyphosate and trifloxysulfuron-sodium in different doses. Excluding the trifloxysulfuron-sodium, all the other herbicides applied alone showed efficacy in control of these Solanaceae. Trifloxysulfuron-sodium did not compromise the effectiveness of pyrithiobac-sodium applications in mix. The associations of amonio-glufosinate and glyphosate to pyrithiobac-sodium showed no antagonism, it is interesting to use these mixtures by residual control exercised by pyrithiobac-sodium.
