Abstract

In this paper, a three-phase 12/8 switched reluctance generator is taken as the study object and a control system based on that generator is designed. In that system, the digital signal controller applied for is dsPIC30F6010, and power converter circuit adopt asymmetric half-bridge topology, and the main switches use power MOSFET. The paper analyzes the process of power generation and the basic structure of that control system. Besides, the process of software design is introduced. The paper take current chopper control and angle position control as control strategy. Through the simulation and experiment, the generator could achieve different output characteristics under different rotational speeds on the analysis of experimental result, which prove that the system designed above is success.
