Abstract

An automatic control system is developed for steel plate heat treatment regimes, providing acceptable temperature field distribution in a plate and the error in controlling temperature with respect to a prescribed value is not more than 5°C. With the use of the control system, models are developed for determining rolled sheet heat treatment regimes in continuous annealing units. Results of physical modeling are transferred to industrial conditions and a high level of convergence is obtained with industrial heat treatment cycles.
