Abstract

This paper deals with control synthesis for manufacturing systems with an event driven dynamic. Each event may occur at time instants specified by an interval or a union of intervals. The evolution of time is discrete. According to each nature an event may be controllable or incontrollable. The proposed approach addresses the forbidden state problem (FSP). The controller synthesis technique is based on two kinds of actions: 1) modifying the arriving date of controllable events by acting on the associated time interval, or 2) completely forbid some controllable events. The aim is to design a live and maximal permissive controller which guaranty the respect of the given specifications.
