Abstract

The virtual synchronous generator (VSG) control method can realize parallel operation without communication interconnection between multiple energy storage converters, effectively improving the overall load capacity of the system. However, due to the parameters of the device itself and the access line, the output impedance between the VSGs is different, which easily causes circulating currents between the devices, and power distribution cannot be performed according to the set curve. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an adaptive virtual inductance parallel control algorithm. The algorithm can adjust the virtual inductance value according to the reactive power output by the current converter, the given value of reactive power, the given value of virtual inductance and the virtual inductance adjustment coefficient, so as to realize the adaptive compensation of line impedance between devices and reduce circulating currents. The proposed control method was verified by MATLAB simulation.
