Abstract

This paper proposes the framework for the event-triggered state feedback control of a continuous plant. Following on emulation based approach event-based control loop is designed to follow the performance of continuous state feedback loop. Event-triggering conditions are designed so that the difference between the event-based control loop and the continuous state feedback remains bounded and there exists a lower bound of inter-execution time between events. The effectiveness of this approach is shown by simulation performed on a chemical process of two interconnected tanks system.
