Abstract

Abstract The control of hazards resulting from tritium production at the Savannah River Plant are described. Controls in use include radiological engineering techniques followed by training of operating personnel, use of protective clothing, control of surface and air contamination, bioassay, and environmental monitoring. Details indicating the effectiveness of these control measures are given.
