Abstract

Abstract Trials were conducted at the Colorado State Horticulture Field Research Center north of Ft. Collins, CO. Onions were transplanted 23 Apr to single rows and, before covering, were treated with water drenches of in-furrow insecticides (equivalent rate of 180 gallons of water/acre). Individual plots were 12-ft long, arranged in a RCB design with 5 replications. Evaluations were made by counting all thrips on 10 plants in the center of each plot.
