Abstract

We present several general results on stabilization of time-delay systems with delays of arbitrary length. We focus on nonlinear systems with input and state delays, with delays that are constant, time-varying or state-dependent. The design methodology is based on the concepts of infinite-dimensional backstepping and nonlinear predictor feedback. Several illustrative examples are provided.
