Abstract

The article discusses a method to increase the efficiency of evolutionary genetic search in coding of modular network structures. A method for unfolding a genotype to form a phenotype using production rules generated by applying formal apparatus of L-systems and repair mechanisms is proposed. Forward and reverse coding techniques are considered. The method provides a combination of compactness of genetic code representation and advanced capabilities to increase dimension of resulting networks.
