Abstract

The possibility of attenuation of the cross flow in the three-dimensional incompressible laminar boundary layer on a sideslipping wing under the action of body force sources simulating the time-average forces generated by a surface electric discharge is estimated. The effect of the distance between the sources and the sideslip angle of the wing on the cross flow velocity is investigated for the source intensity observed experimentally.
