Abstract

In this paper, we present a chaos control algorithm, based on the OGY method, to control chaotic behavior in high order dynamical systems. To begin with, once chaotic behavior identified on the bifurcation diagram, studying the so-called Poincare sections enable determining fixed points and the effect of small changes in the control parameter on trajectory. Introduction of a stabilizer parameter in the control law, keeps the dynamical properties and maintains them on a cyclic trajectory. The effectiveness of the proposed method is tested by numerical examples on Lorenz and Rossler systems.
