Abstract

The present study is focused on controlling the chaotic behavior of geomagnetic Krause and Roberts system. State space linearization technique is applied to control chaos in Krause and Roberts system. To observe the effectiveness of state space linearization, a numerical comparison with linear and nonlinear feedback control technique is presented in this paper. It is observed that, the proposed state space linearization controller can control the large oscillations of Krause and Roberts system effectively as compared to linear and nonlinear feedback controller.
