Aphis Pomi, A sorbi, Myzus cerasi and A. spiraecola are successfully controlled by nicotine dust on a commercialscalc. Cross transfers of A. pomi and A. spiraecola on apple and Spiraea vanhouttei are equally successful. Reaches the conclusion that A. ponli and A. spiraecola are same species
