She is also working on a collection of short stories.Danielle Boodoo-Fortuné is a poet and artist from Trinidad. Her writing has been featured in publications such as Bim, Anthurium, sx salon, Tongues of the Ocean, and Room Magazine. She was awarded the Charlotte and Isidor Paeiwonsky Prize for First Time Publication by the Caribbean Writer in 2009 and nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2010.
