Abstract
The quasitotal magnitudes of 296 galaxies measured in the 1Pg, 1Pv system by Holmberg are transformed to the B, V system and corrected to the standard Br, (B - v)r systems of asymptotic magnitudes and colors defined in Papers I and II. The corrected magnitudes Br* are in good agreement with the primary standards BTS from surface photometry, and confirm the presence of a small systematic error depending on axis ratio in the secondary standards BTA from multiaperture photometry. Intercomparisons of the corrected total magnitudes and colors from Papers II and III for about 200 objects in common give for the mean errors per unit weight of the corrected Holmberg data a1 (Br*) = 0.11 mag and a1(B - V)r* = 0.05 mag.
