Abstract
The study of continental effluents discharged into the marine environment has enabled us to show that phosphate ion concentration does not follow the linear law of dilution exhibited by a true solution. We were able to show that the dilution of sewage in seawater allows the particles and colloids to desorb phosphate ions, thus increasing the amount of already dissolved inorganic phosphate.
