Abstract
This study aims to analyze the contribution of the principal's transformational leadership and school climate on teacher performance through work motivation. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The sample is 324 in Banjarmasin elementary schools. Data were extracted using a questionnaire that was valid and reliable and analyzed using Path Analysis. The results showed that: (1) There was a direct contribution between principal's transformational leadership, school climate, work motivation, and teacher performance. (2) There was an indirect contribution between the principal's transformational leadership, school climate through work motivation as an intermediary variable on the teacher performance of elementary schools in Banjarmasin City. This study concludes that significant results were obtained for all variables studied.
