Abstract
Information Communication Technology (ICT) is becoming increasingly significant in making a difference and improving the information communication and information sharing practices. The implementation of ICTs has revolutionized the information ease of use, accessibility and utilization. The open access movement is one of the best undertakings of ICTs. It takes information to the doorsteps of the users without any hindrance like subscription charges. The DOAJ has added a new chapter to the open access literature. The present paper evaluates the contribution of BRICS Nations to DOAJ.
