Abstract

Abstract Chemical control of mistletoe (Viscum album L.). Spraying or trunk injection of phytohormones has given promise of control of mistletoe (Viscum album L.) on silver fir. Definlte results were obtained some months after spring treatment, and autumn treatments appear equally promising. If these results are confirmed, the infection rate in low‐elevation silver firs stands could be reduced.
