Abstract
In a phytosociological study of some beaches on the sea—shore of Togo we described the Remireo maritimae—Canavalietum roseae (easily disturbed by anthropization), the Kyllingo peruvianae—Phyletum nodiflorae, some others herbaceous communities (with Schizachyrium pulchellum or with Paspalum distichum, Blutaparon vermiculare and Sesuvium portulacastrum) and a new shrubby community on sand, the Jasmino dichotomi—Zanthoxyletum zanthoxyloidis.
