Abstract
A list of Carabus (Carabidae) collected in North Korea by the Expeditions of the Zoological Institute of Krakow (Poland) is given. Two new taxa are described and illustrated : Carabus (Eucarabus) pawlowskianus n. sp. and C. (E .) billbergi coreicola n. subsp. The female holotype of «C. (E.) sternbergi var. angustus Roeschke 1898 » is illustrated. Its taxonomic status is hypothetical. The knowledge of the aedeagus of C. (E.) pseudokoreanus Breuning 1932 brings two nomenclatorial consequences : C. (E.) vogti Beheim & Breuning 1943 is considered as a subspecies of C. pseudokoreanus, and C. (E.) nangnimicus Blumenthal & Deuve 1984 as a valid species.
