Abstract
SummaryPaired eruptive complexes consisting of a symmetrical and an asymmetrical cinder cone are described from Mount Etna. The contrasts in shape and fumarolic activity and the temporal relations of the cones are ascribed to the level of magma in the underlying conduit.
