Abstract

The usefulness of continuous-time adaptive nonrecursive and recursive filters (CTANRFs and CTARFs) in the field of adaptive signal processing is considered. Their performance characteristics are established with hardware implementation and theoretical results are verified with experimental values obtained from the hardware prototype. An adaptive channel equalizer is designed which is capable of handling signal bandwidths of about 10 MHz to demonstrate the feasibility of practical adaptive circuits. >
