Abstract
We firstly obtain a continuous-wave (CW) Nd:GSGG green laser at 551.5 nm based on a well-designed concave-flat resonator and a LBO nonlinear crystal (θ = 90°, φ = 8.8°). The main peak lines at 936.4, 1061.2 and 1336.6 nm are suppressed completely. With a pump power of 6.25 W at 808.7 nm, 308 mW continuous wave (CW) laser at 551.5 nm is generated and the optical conversion efficiency is about 4.9%.
