Abstract

An experimental investigation was made of low-frequency switching of the Q factor of cw sealed conventional and waveguide lasers. The use of an intracavity acoustooptic traveling-wave switch made it possible to generate microsecond pulses with repetition frequencies up to 200 kHz.
