Abstract
A successive time series of spontaneous mutational changes in afila pea line Us-93-1378, as a result of which silent genes are activated or active genes of the leaf architectonics and other traits are blocked, is investigated. An electrophoretic analysis of reserve proteins in seeds of the revealed mutants showed an increase in the number of polypeptides in their spectrum. Specimens having an increased biological potential are noted.
