Abstract
A system for continuously monitoring pH in a small tissue culture chamber has been designed. It consists of a micro glass electrode which can be inserted into the chamber through a 15 gauge syringe needle, and a reference electrodesalt bridge inserted in the exhaust tube of the perfusion system or side arm of a closed system. Monitoring can be accomplished by meter or paper.
