Abstract

Network Partition Index (NPI) doesn't address cache management and reliability. Motivated by this observation, Hybrid Spatial Air Index (HSAI) has been proposed for Continuous k-Nearest Neighbor Queries in road networks. HSAI utilized the usages of both Adaptive Cooperative Caching (ACC) and XOR-based network coding. Experiments have been conducted for evaluating query performance and compared Hybrid Spatial Air Index (HSAI) with state-of-the-art NPI. The experimental results show that HSAI outperform.
