Abstract

Patients with unresectable liver metastasis of colorectal carcinoma or hepatobiliary carcinoma were treated with the continuous arterial infusion of low dose rIL-2 (n=9) or that with low dose cy (n=3) for 2–6 weeks. One of the patients treated with rIL-2 alone was estimated as MR. All the patients treated with rIL-2 and CY responded and reduced tumor markers and tumor size in a short period. There were no differences of immunological parameters but apparent differences of therapeutic effects between the infusion of rIL-2 alone and rIL-2 with CY. This protocol should be valuable for the patients with metastatic liver tumors.
