Continuous aortic flow augmentation using the Orqis® CANCION® CRS™ therapy in patients with severe heart failure: Determinants of the hemodynamic response

Abstract

Continuous aortic flow augmentation using Orqis CRS™ therapy has been shown to improve both Cardiac Index (CI) and Pulmonary Capillary Wedge Pressure (PCWP) in patients with decompensated chronic heart failure (HF). We hypothesized that the magnitude of this hemodynamic response is influenced by pretreatment CI and serum creatinine.
