Abstract
THE RESULTS of the 1965 survey of continuing medical education in dermatology have been compiled. The data derived from this survey have been reproduced in a questionnaire form which duplicates one sent to 107 medical centers in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico earlier this year. Eighty-three of the questionnaires (77%) were completed in time for inclusion in the survey. The range of teaching activities varied from those institutions reporting no scheduled activity in a particular teaching category, to those having 600 scheduled hours devoted to the same teaching activity. The figures are not intended to give an accurate measure of the total teaching activity in dermatology; rather, they represent estimates which give some notion of the scope and magnitude of teaching efforts in these areas.
