Abstract

Houston-based carbon black and carbon nanotube (CNT) manufacturer Continental Carbon Co has signed a long-term technology licensing agreement with Al-Jubail Petrochemical Co (Kemya), a 50/50 joint venture between Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) and affiliates of ExxonMobil Chemical. Under the agreement's terms, Continental Carbon licenses its production technology related to the construction and operation of a new greenfield carbon black plant at Kemya's petrochemical complex at Al-Jubail in Saudi Arabia.
