Abstract

Research Article| October 01 2017 Contested Boundaries: The Harvard Land Grants as an Archetype for Intercolonial Competition for Land Robin Stephen McMahon Robin Stephen McMahon Robin Stephen McMahon is an adjunct instructor at New York University where he teaches history. He also teaches Latin at Bayside High School in Queens, NY. He grew up in New Haven, Connecticut and received his BA in history from Vassar College, MA in Classics from New York University, and MA in History from Columbia University. In addition to his interests in European history, he is interested in the early history of the New England colonies particularly colonial education. He recently collected, translated, and published the Latin epitaphs of the early students of Harvard and Yale.
