Abstract
Due to the traditional resource sharing system based on satellite lacks of subscription service and inconvenient operation, it can no longer meet the needs of content for farmers and herdsmen. Content Centric Network (CCN) technology based on the Internet is difficult to implement in agricultural and pastoral areas which are lacking of network infrastructure. It is worth noting that the rapid spread of smart phones and other mobile devices in agricultural and pastoral areas, as well as the continuous development of Mobile Delay Tolerant Network (MDTN) makes content delivery that use of mobile portable terminal devices to constitute MDTN-CCN integrated network turns into a more efficient way. However, the energy of the mobile portable communication devices is limited in MDTN, which will affect the efficiency of content delivery and the performance of the entire network. Therefore, how to achieve efficient routing under the condition of energy constraint is the key to the content delivery of MDTN-CCN integrated network. In this paper, based on the operational principle and content delivery mechanism of CCN, as well as typical routing strategies of MDTN-CCN integrated network, we put forward a content opportunistic routing protocol considering the interest, residual energy and centrality of node (ECORP-C). The strategy divides the whole network into several communities based on node's interest, and divides the nodes of the entire network into different degrees based on node's residual energy and centrality. In the process of routing, it preferences to choose the node which energy degree and centrality degree are both appropriate as a relay to forward interest packet and data packet. Experimental results show that ECORP-C can achieve higher delivery rate and effectively save energy at the same time. It is beneficial to realize the content delivery of agricultural and pastoral areas, and to promote the process of information in remote regions.
